Power of One Fitness was set up in the knowledge that specifically tailored exercise can be used to combat a range of conditions. Over the last few years there have been several thousand scientific papers written across the globe regarding the range of benefits that exercise has on the body - warding off chronic disease and improving mental capacity are two significant advantages. Other areas of human life that can be positively affected by physical exercise are ADHD, dyspraxia, depression, stress, anxiety, addiction, hormonal changes and the one we all try to fight - ageing.

The body and mind are linked together in one being. The two are not separate entities. Using a personal trainer to improve your physical fitness and health, as well as improving nutrition, will certainly help develop your mind's capacity.

MAKE A GOAL


We will look at what you want to achieve and why to focus in on a goal. Knowing why you are making a change will make it much easier to create your programme and more effective to implement. There may be a series of goals that extend over a number of weeks or just one - it is entirely personalised.

CREATE PROGRAMME


Looking at your goal, we will create a programme which will help you achieve results at a level you are comfortable with. This will include exercises to do outside of our training sessions, nutrition guidance, and be in accordance with specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time framed goals.

ON-GOING SUPPORT


To make sure your training regime is as effective as possible, you will be provided with nutrition guidance, as well as finding out the best ways to motivate you and reward results. We will monitor the improvements in your body to give you the confidence to continue - the tape measure doesn't lie!
