People often talk about losing weight when they really mean that they’d like to lose fat. This is something that is very achievable with a structured and bespoke exercise programme, using a range of exercise protocols to burn away excess body fat. If this is combined with a sensible and sustainable approach to nutrition the results can be amazing. The aim of Power of One Fitness is to create healthy habits that will allow clients to live a healthy future.

FAT LOSS - NOT WEIGHT LOSS


One thing many people do to measure their progress when trying to get fit is to weigh themselves. This is not something you will be encouraged to do at Power of One Fitness, as you can be having real progress without losing much weight at all. As part of your personalised Fat Loss programme, we will be recording the changes in your Body Fat Percentage and using other measurements, as these will provide a far more accurate way of measuring results. This is something that will be done regularly, so you can be encouraged by the progress you are making.

MAKE A GOAL


We will look at what you want to achieve, and why, to focus in on a goal. Knowing why you are making a change will make it much easier to create your programme and more effective to implement. There may be a series of goals, or just one, that extend over a number of weeks - it is entirely personalised.

CREATE PROGRAMME


Looking at your goals, we will create a programme which will help you achieve results at a level you are comfortable with. This will include exercises to do outside of our training sessions, nutrition guidance, and be in accordance with specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time framed goals.

ON-GOING SUPPORT


To make sure your training regime is as effective as possible, you will be provided with nutrition guidance, as well as finding out the best ways to motivate you and reward results. We will monitor the improvements in your body to give you the confidence to continue - the tape measure doesn't lie!
