Happy New Year!
May you have good health, lots of happiness, and a great New Year.
This is not going to be one of those emails telling you that it is now or never: that the New Year is the best time to make the decision to ‘get ripped’, find the fountain of youth or any other fanciful claim that tries to guilt you into parting ways with your money in an effort to make some random New Year’s resolution. Nope.
And it is New Year’s Eve after all, so it is going to be a short one.
Here it is. Are you ready for it?
Celebrate the coming of 2025 in whatever way you and your loved ones usually do it. Don’t feel guilty about it. Enjoy the celebrations in your own fashion.
If you do make a New Year’s resolution to make 2025 the year that you make the change to get fitter or stronger or leaner or healthier (or any combination of that), that’s awesome, but please have a solid reason for wanting to change.
Solid reason? What do you mean?
Ask yourself why you want to change. Once you have that answer, ask yourself what succeeding in that would mean to you and your life – what would it allow you to do or be? And then when you have that answer ask yourself what doing that thing or being that person would mean to you and why.
By the way, playing with the kids without getting out of breath, or walking in the mountains with your partner, or escaping from marauding zombies over fences are all perfectly legitimate reasons for wanting to make a change.
And if you are not sure what to do to help yourself achieve those goals, please do get in touch (click the ‘Book a call…’ button at the bottom of this page). I’d love to be able to help you be fitter, leaner, stronger and healthier.
Have a fantastic New Year and hopefully speak soon.
